Feral?

Somewhat feral, but warming up (literally) to the idea of domestication.

She came in about mid-morning and spent 4 hours snoozing in the chair next to the furnace vent. I can't stand how cute she looks under there. She's more laid back than Smokie. She knows the benefit of a long, warm nap.

After dinner, dark and getting very cold, they both came in for a couple of hours. Spent a bit of time exploring the whole house. Then Smokie decided she could play with the toys. The rolling wine cork was hers, all hers. She picked it up in her mouth and took it under the bureau by the table.

CeeCee was only there for moral support, not interested in taking it away from her. I'd like to get a shot of Smokie sitting up, but she just doesn't do it as often as she used to. I think she'd rather teach her sister the Hokie Pokie now.

Before Mom came to the door to get them, I told them both they were welcome to stay inside all the time. I'm looking forward to next week. L is looking forward to seeing them play, now she can watch them do that inside.

Yep, that is way past cute. Utterly adorable, in fact ;-).

And that furniture of yours looks very, very desirable too, I might add. Beautiful wood.

Thanks so much for the great pics!!

I'm going to miss those little girls. And the table/chairs are a cheaply made-to-look-expensive set we bought second-hand from Craigslist. It's huge as we were having our annual SCA campmates' winter feast every year. It's too big for the space, but I love its shape so I'm keeping it. The bureau behind is a dresser from Al's bedroom set. It's also too big for the space, I'll probably sell the set during the huge massive garage sale next year.

You're welcome for the pics. Taking cat pictures seems to be the only thing I can concentrate on right now, so I'm just going with it.

They are so cute. I'm glad I'm working from home so I can hunt down my sweet old girl and pet her after looking at them.

The Internet is full of cats.

Isn't that just true? I can't help but reach down and pick one up to pet them every chance I get. They don't freak out, but they're not used to being held either.

CeeCee is a little beauty and Smokie is gorgeous. I'm getting my cat fix from your pictures.

Just break the cycle of non-stop pregnancies and making babies. Their quality of life will improve dramatically.

I'm rooting for you to get Momma.

It's a lovely Christmas present to give.

Smokie has discovered the warm comfortable and was in most of the day. She'd play with Cee-Cee, then run over to me to put her nose somewhere on my face, anywhere. Must me a Momma comfort thing. She layed on the couch beside and let me pet her a good one. Cee-Cee's not even that friendly.

I do need to call the vet's office in the morning and make an appointment, if they'll even handle her. Now I'm making mental notes.
