I Admit It

I feel no shame in getting up after 4 hours of bed sleep to settle into the chair mid-morning to sleep till afternoon. It's really not my fault, I blame PBS. They wait to run all their British Whodunits till 10 or later.

Last night I was treated to the first new Sherlock Holmes again, the one with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. I hope they're going to show both seasons this Fall before the new season which will most likely not air till after the new year. The only thing I don't like about them is their "season" is 3 episodes, that's it, just 3. So if I nap all day I might just catch all 6 before the new season.

Thursday through Sunday though they have all kinds of Masterpiece Mystery and Midsomer Murders and all that on till 2 in the morning. 2. Oh gee, that means I have to sleep through hours of American Pickers, Say Yes To The Dress, Ghost Hunters, Long Island Medium, Rehab Addict, Property Brothers and Holmes Makes It Right in order to see what I consider quality television.

I'm officially a night owl, and most likely a snob.

PS: While I still find Jon Stewart amusing I find I can't watch Rachael Maddow any more. She reports things that make me so very angry and defeated about how utterly STUPID our Congress Idiots really are with all their ignorant shenanigans. Nope, can't watch anymore. Life is too short and I can only hope our broken democracy doesn't reach and punch me in the face before I die. Supreme Being Help Us All.

Yes Dad

Hi Dad!

Hey, tell me again what spices you use on your steak.

Okay, Season Salt, Lemon Pepper, Thyme, and Sage.

Okay, let me get some paper so I can right it down. Now tell me again.

Season Salt, Lemon Pepper, Thyme, and Sage.

I remember you telling me that before so I think I have all those things. You broil it right?

Yes and I was thinking as well done as you like it you'll need to put the broiler pan one step down from the top element, broil it on high both sides for about 8 to 10 minutes each side. And Dad?

Yes.

Put a little water in the pan of the broiler pan.

I don't have a broiler pan.

Well then don't do that.

I have one I'll just have to find it.

Okay. Talk to you later.

Bye.
