This link comes from linking back to rdg1983's journal because I notice the photo she posted in lj_photophile was taken in Lake Oswego which is near me, so while perusing her journal I find the How To Make A Utility Quilt video she linked to from BlogSpot.

People are making them for Haiti victims, but I can see the practical use in the back yard and SCA camping. And I don't know about you, but when you forget your reusable bag, groceries always seem more practcal in plastic than paper till you look in the garage and find you've now collected over a million plastic bags because, well because you like to eat and you have to get the groceries home somehow and you'd like to do that without having to think about how many trees are killed to make paper bags.
